An obvious collaboration
Since its creation, Balzeo has been proud to collaborate with The Sea Cleaners, an association that works to protect the oceans, by donating 10% of its annual profits. This money contributes to the design of the Manta, a giant waste-collecting quadrimaran, a world first. A real technological challenge for an innovative solution, it will collect, sort and compact large quantities of floating plastic macro-waste at sea.

Behind Balzeo is Hugo
As a 23-year-old student at Paris Dauphine University, I had a very early desire to found a company that made sense. I was guided by this desire to find a product that could meet an urgent ecological need. It was during a university exchange in Boston that I noticed that most students had their own reusable bottle. The result? Not a single plastic bottle on campus. I thought it was time to develop the same habit in France...
